Church of Saint Clare

The Beginnings Of Our Church Renovation Project

In 1998 we were hired by the Church of St Claire in Lyndhurst, Ohio. Without adding to the building’s footprint, we were able to improve the functionality of their space. Later, when it was time to restore and renovate their sanctuary, they again turned to us for help. Like many of our other Catholic church renovations, we worked with the church committee and its congregation in order to restore the church to its once vibrant and lively interior so many of the older members of the congregation remembered.

Our Church Renovations

During the collaborative process with the church committee, lighting became one of the highest priorities. In the existing sanctuary, the lighting was dim and made it difficult to read - especially for the older members of their congregation. Complimentary to the quality of light, we worked to improve the acoustics and sound in the sanctuary. Careful consideration to these details ultimately created a better mass experience. Our final priority was aesthetics. By removing work from previous renovations, we were able to successfully restore the altar to its previous glory.
Our attention to detail, clear and complete documents, and ability to communicate with the owner and contractor led to the success of this church renovation project. Not only were we able to finish the project within budget, but we were also able to finish in time for Palm Sunday’s mass.
